If Plants Could Hum

2023 | Denver Art Museum, Denver, CO

If Plants Could Hum was a temporary installation and workshop that brought ‘plant music’ to the sensory garden at the Denver Art Museum. Using bio-sonification technology, the project translated plant activity into sound, allowing visitors to experience the unseen rhythms of nature. The installation created an immersive environment where plants actively contributed to the sensory experience. In addition to designing the space, I led a workshop where participants engaged with plant-generated sound, fostering a deeper connection to the natural world. If Plants Could Hum reimagined our relationship with nature, making the invisible audible and the unheard felt.
